Theme: Finding Balance in Language Assessment

How do we create assessments that are fair to organizations that need to know language learner abilities and to the language learners themselves?

How do we balance the time-consuming process of validating assessments with the innovator's push to "move fast and break things"?

How do we create tests that are affordable and accessible to even the most disadvantaged while fairly paying the professionals with the expertise needed to create, validate and rate the assessments?

The middle can be messy.
